Jammu : Traffic Police City Jammu and Enforcement wing of RTO Jammu laid joint nakas at various locations i.e Bhagwati Nagar, Talab Tillo, Ambphalla Chowk to check Overcharging and other Traffic violations.
During the Special drive 76 No’s of vehicles particularly e-Rickshaw, Auto, Mini-buses were booked for overcharging, overloading, plying vehicles without fitness certificate, insurance certificate etc.
e-Rickshaw drivers were directed to implement zones notification and ply their vehicles in their respective zones. They were also directed to follow the guidelines issued by the Transport Department with respect to Passenger safety and levy of fares.
