Jammu: At least three people died while three others were injured after a vehicle they were travelling in met with an accident at Dachan area of Kishtwar district on Tuesday, officials said.
An official said that the vehicle rolled down into a gorge, resulting in the death of three persons and injuries to three others.
He said that the vehicle was on its way from Kashmir towards Dachan when it rolled down into a gorge.
Medical Superintendent, District Hospital Kishtwar, Dr Yudhvir Singh said that one injured person has been brought to the hospital, while two are on their way.
Meanwhile, Union Minister, Dr Jitendra Singh in a post on X stated that he is in constant touch with the Deputy Commissioner and expressed condolences with the bereaved families.
