Srinagar: The J&K National Conference leader and MP Srinagar Aga Syed Ruhullah Mehdi on Monday called upon the Government to provide assistance to residents whose homes have been affected by significant subsidence, resulting in structural damage.
According to a statement issued from party headquarters here, Ruhullah said that It was imperative that the administration promptly address this issue and offer support to those impacted by this unfortunate situation.
Expressing concern over the unfortunate unfolding in Shahar-e-Khas, Ruhullah emphasised on the urgent need to offer temporary housing to the affected families while they work to address the damage to their homes. “It is crucial for the administration to provide all available assistance as they are facing a dire situation. Expert guidance from NIT should be sought for the necessary remedial measures. Time is of the essence, and the government must act swiftly to ensure the safety and well-being of these families,” he said.
