‘Deploy full spectrum of counter-militancy capabilities’: PM Modi To Top Officials At J&K security Review Meet

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired a high-level meeting on Thursday to discuss the security situation in Jammu & Kashmir (J&K) following a series of militancy-related incidents. The meeting, attended by National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval and other senior officials, aimed to assess the current security landscape in the region. Government sources said that Prime Minister Modi received a comprehensive overview of the ongoing counter-militancy efforts in the region. He was briefed on the strategies and operations being implemented to tackle militant activities and ensure the safety of the region.
During the meeting, PM Modi emphasized the importance of deploying India’s full range of counter-militancy capabilities. He directed officials to make use of all available resources and strategies to combat militancy effectively. The Prime Minister stressed the need for a robust and coordinated response to potential threats. PM Modi also spoke with Home Minister Amit Shah to discuss the deployment of security forces and ongoing counter-militancy operations. Additionally, he spoke to J&K Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha to review the situation and was briefed on the efforts being undertaken by the local administration.Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during the meeting, directed officials to deploy the “full spectrum of counter-militancy capabilities.” He stressed the importance of a coordinated response to the security challenges faced in the region.
The government’s focus on deploying comprehensive counter-militancy measures reflects its commitment to ensuring the safety and security of Jammu & Kashmir. PM Modi’s review of the security situation underscores the government’s resolve to address the challenges posed by militancy in the region.
