Jakarta: Canada will join the US initiative for defense and industrial cooperation in the Indo-Pacific region, Canadian Defense Minister Bill Blair said on Sunday.
This initiative, which was announced by US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, will strengthen the collective security and ensure that Canada, the United States and partners can support innovation and reduce barriers to communication and collaboration, Blair said at the IISS Shangri-La Dialogue in Singapore.
