Kulgam: The District Election Officer (DEO) Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan on Thursday visited strong rooms, distribution and collection centres being set up for the General Lok Sabha 2024 elections at GDC D.H Pora, GDC Kulgam and GDC Kulgam.
During the visit, DEO took detailed assessment of arrangements being put up for safety, surveillance and security of Election related material and machinery to be kept at these centres for the Lok Sabha elections in 3 Anantnag-Rajouri parliamentary elections.
He instructed the concerned to ensure all safety measures and adherence to the guidelines of Election Commission of India in letter and spirit for protection of election related material and machinery at these centres.
