Police facilitates PCPG meetings in Kulgam

Srinagar : Police on Friday facilitated PCPG meetings at Police Station Yaripora, Police Station Manzgam, Police Station Devsar and Police Station Behibagh.
According to a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters Srinagar, the meetings were chaired by concerned jurisdictional officers in which citizens of respective areas participated.
During the meetings, participants raised various issues. The chairing officers present at these meetings gave a patient hearing to their issues and assured them that their issues which are pertaining to other departments will be taken up immediately with the concerned officers for appropriate action besides issues related to Police would be resolved on priority. The participants were stressed to cooperate with Police in maintaining L&O and curbing the drug menace in the areas and identification of anti-national/anti-social elements who try to disrupt the peaceful atmosphere. The participants commended the police initiative, expressing full support in addressing the social issues. Moreover the meetings concluded on a positive note with the commitment that police and public will work in tandem towards eradicating the evils from the society.
