Srinagar : Police on Thursday said that it has seized an illicit timber at Adipora area of Sopore.
In a statement issued from Zonal police Headquarters Srinagar Police said that on a specific inputs a Police party of Police Station Sopore headed by SHO Police Station Sopore under the supervision of SDPO Sopore raided the house of Ghulam Hassan Malik S/o Sonaullah Malik R/o Adipora Sopore and during search recovered 45 Planks apprx. 23 square feet of illicit timber from the said house.
Stating that the police has accordingly registered cases under FIR No. 32 under relevant section of law at Police Station Sopore and accordingly initiated further investigations, Police in the concluding para of it’s above quoted statement appealed people to collaborate with it in law enforcement against crimes.
