Jammu: Director General J&K Police R.R. Swain on Monday sanctioned monthly financial assistance in favour of 20 wards of the police martyrs, under an order issued by Police Headquarters here as Welfare measures.
According to an order issued from PHQ Jammu Rupees nine thousand each has been sanctioned in favour of 18 wards and Rupees three thousand each in favour two wards of slain Police personnel/SPOs pursuing coaching programmes for IAS/JKAS exams organized by Mission Youth J&K. The financial assistance has been sanctioned out of J&K Police Pariwar Fund for the months of September, October and November-2023. As per order, the AIG of Police (Welfare) shall transfer the amount to Staff officers to DIG Armed Kashmir/Jammu, nodal officers for mission youth for further disbursement to the beneficiaries.
