Pulwama: Irfan Nazir, recently elected district president of Jammu and Kashmir Teachers’ Forum (JKTF) for Pulwama, was formally sworn in during an education conference held at townhall Awantipora on Tuesday.
The function was attended by Chairman JKTF, Mohammad Amin Khan, Provincial President, Hamid Ullah Tramboo, CEO Pulwama, Abdul Qayoom Naqwi, ZEO Awantipora Azad Ahmad Lone, Zonal Presidents, besides a large number of Teachers.
The education conference titled “The role of a teacher in NEP-2020” was organised to deliberate on the themes, related to implementation of NEP-2020 in schools, in which the speakers assured that education system in govt schools will see a major transformation.
Meanwhile, district president, Irfan Nazir has expressed his gratitude towards the forum & teachers for electing him as president for Pulwama, and said that he will work for the betterment of teachers across the district. He was later honoured by the members of JKTF, who all wished him good luck, for his new assignment as JKTF district president.
