The relentless pursuit of a perfect public image on social media affects psychological well-being. From the impact of curated images on self-esteem to the addictive nature of seeking online validation, the consequences are profound. This article explores the need for parental control, educational programs, and a shift towards authenticity. Focusing on eradicating fakeness and promoting values like productivity and honesty is crucial for a healthier online environment. Addressing the potential trauma when life events challenge that image could add depth. Considering incorporating real-life stories or expert opinions to make your opinion more impactful, the important thing is how the psychological problem is happening in society, regarding the public image that they have made to make it constant, like if I’m looking beautiful, so I should look beautiful throughout my life. Then that trauma, if something happens, because with age, your life will not be like that. When somebody posts something, whether this is a picture of that person or any thought or anything, it mediates some changes in the brain that leads to some stable changes in the brain, like somebody is addicted to narcotics or it’s the same as social media addiction and the social media obsession that how people will react whether people like your posts, whether people like your image, or whether people like your content. So, such things will be passed to future generations that may affect the psychological well-being of the kids they are going to;your worries about how this obsession with likes and validation might affect future generations are valid arguments. Exploring the potential long-term consequences on kids’ psychological well-being is a thought-provoking angle.
“Addressing the impact of filters and staged content on people’s self-perception is crucial. Encouraging a focus on values like productivity, honesty, dedication, and hard work rather than the illusion created on social media can promote a healthier mindset. Emphasizing the need to eliminate fakeness and promote authenticity is a powerful message. The detrimental effects of perpetuating unrealistic standards and how embracing genuineness can lead to a more positive online environment.”

The essential role is how parents and educators can navigate these challenges to promote a healthier relationship with social media. What are the things incorporating some solutions or recommendations that the recommendation might be that the parent should keep the kids in a controlled way, in a regulated way, that they should not get into social media like many social media apps make people into a kind of ledger kind of thing, like where you have a reel of 30 seconds or 10 seconds and keep scrolling for hours? The thing is awareness of how social media will negatively affect how to use social media positively; there should be some educational programs to promote how to regulate the use of social media. And the other aspect is that. Parental control, limiting exposure to certain types of content, and educational programs on responsible social media use can play a crucial role. It’s essential to strike a balance between awareness and practical solutions. The person should not get obsessed with whether their image will affect whether he behaves rawly or normally. Using filters and various fake backgrounds creates an obsession in these people. Today’s influencers try to behave smartly, displaying fake backgrounds, money, and many fake materialistic things. They make a fake narrative that they earn huge amounts of money with luxury; if so, such posts should be prevented. People should not look at those things. They should always believe in productivity, honesty, dedication, and hard work. Therefore, addressing the impact of filters and staged content on people’s self-perception is crucial. Encouraging a focus on values like productivity, honesty, dedication, and hard work rather than the illusion created on social media can promote a healthier mindset. Emphasizing the need to eliminate fakeness and promote authenticity is a powerful message. The detrimental effects of perpetuating unrealistic standards and how embracing genuineness can lead to a more positive online environment.
