Police organizes meeting with families of Police Martyrs in Sopore

Srinagar : Police in Sopore on Thursday held meeting with the NOKs of Police Martyrs at DPL Sopore. The meeting was chaired by SP Sopore Smt. Divya D alongwith DySP DAR Sopore Dr. Hilal Ahmad Hilal.
The meeting was organised to take stock of the welfare of the families of Police Martyrs who laid their precious lives in safeguarding the sovereignty and integrity of the nation. SP Sopore while addressing the NOKs of Police Martyrs assured them of every possible help and lauded the role played by their loved ones in sacrificing their lives for the sake of the nation. She further said that J&K Police will always remain indebted to their services by creating an atmosphere of peace & stability. Further, the chairing officer emphasised the NOKs of Police Martyrs to consider the Police department as their own family and share their problems at any time.
During the interaction, various genuine grievances were raised by the Martyr families and they were assured that their grievances would be taken up with concerned quarters at an appropriate level for timely redressal. Later, NOKs of Police Martyrs expressed their satisfaction and hoped to further strengthen the bond between them and J&K Police Department.
