Srinagar: The weather section on Wednesday predicted light rain and snow in next two days across Jammu and Kashmir.
As per details on Thursday, weather will remain generally cloudy towards afternoon with light snow at isolated higher reaches towards night and on January 26t, generally cloudy with light rain over plains and light snow at isolated higher reaches towards early morning.
Meanwhile between January 27 to February 2, there is possibility of light to moderate rain and snow at widespread places most likely and moderate to dense fog likely to continue over plains of Jammu Division till January 25.
The MeT section however, in an advisory stated that the system may lead to temporary closure of roads of higher reaches and important passes like Sinthan pass, Mughal Road, Sadhna and Razdan pass, Zojila etc. particularly during January 28 to 31 while the travellers are advised to Plan accordingly.
