Jammu: Security forces on Friday arrested three militant suspects along with unaccounted cash in Reasi district of Jammu Province.
Official sources said that acting on specific inputs, security forces have arrested three militant suspects and recovered unaccounted cash in a successful operation aimed at breaking the militant nexus in Mahore Tehsil of Reasi district.
“As a follow up to the arrest of two OGWs in Budhal on December 6 and based on confirmed inputs, the suspects were intercepted by a joint team of Army-Police at a check-post when travelling in a SUV inside Mahore town,” sources said.
They added that unaccounted cash would probably have been used for funding of militancy related activities which have recently been impacted by the elimination of foreign militants by the security forces of the district.
