New Delhi : Student leader and National Convenor of J&K Students Association, Nasir Khuehami here on Friday called on All India Majlis-E-Ittehadul Muslimeen President and Lok Sabha Member of Parliament, Asaduddin Owaisi, at his residence in New Delhi
During the meeting, Khuehami exchanged views on various issues pertaining to J&K students studying across the country. He apprised Owaisi about various challenges faced by Jammu and Kashmiri students and discussed youth-related programs and policies. Socio-political activist Sajad Kargili also met the Hyderabad MP on the occasion. They discussed a range of issues concerning Ladakh, including air connectivity in Kargil and the AIR Kargil issue. Kargili raised concerns about unemployment in Ladakh, emphasizing these issues to be addressed in the House. Owaisi has assured Kargili to raise these issues in the house and expressed hope that they would be addressed on merit.
Speaking after the meeting, Khuehami said, “Our exchange of ideas was constructive. Living in a multi-party parliamentary and participatory democracy, differences of opinions and diversity are natural. We thank Owaisi Sahab for prioritizing our concerns, even though we disagree with his politics at times.” Owaisi appreciated Khuehami’s efforts for the welfare of students, especially during unprecedented times.
