Arrangements for ensuing JKSSB Examinations finalized at B’gam

Budgam: The Deputy Commissioner (DC), Budgam, Akshay Labroo on Friday convened a meeting to finalize arrangements for the ensuing JKSSB OMR based examination of Panchayat Secretaries.
The meeting held at Sheikh-ul-Alam Hall, Budgam was also attended by SSP Budgam, Al- Tahir Gillani, Member/ Observer JKSSB, Yar Ali Khan and Additional Deputy Commissioner, Mehraj-ud-Din Shah.
Stressing on making adequate arrangements for free, fair and transparent conduct of examination at all examination centres, the DC sensitized all the officers about their roles and responsibilities to ensure smooth conduct of the examination.
At the outset, ADC Budgam was designated as Chief Inspector for over all examination centres, while SDMs were also designated as Chief inspectors for examination centres falling in their respective sub-division areas.
Exhorting officers to work in close coordination, the DC emphasized on making foolproof arrangements at all centres and instructed concerned to ensure there is no lacunae at any centre.
CEO Budgam was instructed that training of all concerned including superintendents, deputy superintendents and invigilators is conducted well in time.
The arrangements for drinking water, heating, electricity, transport; manpower, videography, CCTV etc at all centres of the district were also discussed in the meeting.
The District Treasury Officer was directed to ensure safe custody of examination material at a strong room facility, besides proper scrutiny and timely receipt and dispatch of examination material.
ARTO and DYSP Traffic Rural were instructed to ensure required transport arrangements besides smooth traffic movement particularly on the examination day.
During the meeting, SSP Budgam said that adequate security arrangements shall be made at all examination centres in the District.
Among others, the meeting was also attended by SDMs, CEO, CMO, ARTO, DTO, Tehsildars, DYSP Traffic and other concerned officers and officials.
