Reasi: The Viksit Bharat SankalpYatra activities commenced in KanjaliPanchayats of district Reasi, on Thursday.
The Yatra was accorded a warm welcome by PRIs, Senior Citizens, Officials and local residents and were engaged with knowledge enriching audio-video material screened on Special IEC Vans.
They listened attentively to a recorded video message from the Prime Minister, emphasizing the significance of the campaign. Participants took the ViksitSankalp Bharat pledge, affirming their commitment to holistic national development.
The locals were provided information about different government schemes and initiatives, besides engaging and immersing them in scheduled activities including pledge taking. Medical camps were organized to provide health services to the local people at their doorsteps.
During the day long events, students also showcased their artistic talents through mesmerizing cultural performances. Local Dance and Musical folklore exhibited the diverse cultural heritage, fostering a sense of unity and celebration among the spectators.
Beneficiaries also narrated their successful journey of transition in a special segment “MeriKahani, MeriZubani” where they spoke about the positive impact of flagship programmes of the government on their lives.
The Yatra has been rolled out with the intention to reach out to the unreached population and making the general masses aware of the multitude of government schemes, including the JalJeevan Mission, Ayushman Bharat Yojana, PradhanMantriGaribKalyan Anna Yojana, PradhanMantri Mudra Yojana, Jan DhanYojana, PM AwasYojana, PM PRANAM Yojana and Urea Subsidy Scheme and the process to avail benefits.
