Srinagar: In a heartening collaboration aimed at advancing healthcare accessibility, Voluntary Medicare Society and J&K Bank orchestrated a transformative Hearing and Speech Assessment Camp at the society’s head office on November 30, 2023.
Distinguished guests, including J&K Bank CSR Team, graced the occasion, underscoring the importance of collective efforts in addressing crucial health needs, while the event’s focal point was the comprehensive assessment of over 60 deserving beneficiaries.
The camp went beyond assessment, striving to bridge gaps in auditory
health by providing essential hearing aids to those identified as in need. This holistic approach underscores the commitment of both Voluntary Medicare Society and J&K Bank to not only diagnose but also actively contribute to the enhancement of the beneficiaries’ quality of life.
Dr. Mir Mohammad Maqbool, President of Voluntary Medicare Society, expressed his gratitude for the collaborative effort, stating, “This camp represents a convergence of healthcare and corporate responsibility. It’s heartening to see institutions like J&K Bank stepping forward to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those who may otherwise face barriers to essential healthcare services.”
