Srinagar : Police on Thursday organized Blood Donation Camp in collaboration with District Hospital Ganderbal at District Police Lines Ganderbal.
According to a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters Srinagar, the Blood Donation Camp was organised under the supervision of DySP DAR Nazir Ahmad in which Police officers, officials and SPOs participated with great enthusiasm & donated blood.
Moreover the Medical Superintendent District Hospital Ganderbal Dr. Nighat Yasmeen deputed the panel of Doctors & Nurses to DPL Ganderbal & appreciated the efforts of Police for their contribution, donating blood for the noble cause. It was stressed that a single drop of blood can save precious human lives and we should participate in such programmes for safeguarding humanity by donating our blood. Everyone should come forward and donate their blood & to increase the blood capacity in our health system.
On the occasion, a large number of blood units donated by Police were contributed to District Hospital for the emergency patients.
