Pulwama: PDP leader and DDC member Tral Dr Harbakash Singh on Saturday inaugurated a smart classroom at Government High School (GHS), Lalpora (Kahlil) in Tral Block for which the Singh thanked Blossom Kochhar, Aroma Company.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by ZEO Tral, Khursheed Ahmad, ZEO Lurgam, Riyaz Ahmad Mir, Sarpanch Halqa Lalpora, Headmaster GHS Lalpora, staff members, students, and others. The DDC member, Dr Singh believed that teachers can play a vitol role in training their students, as the new facility (smart classroom) in the school is expected to benefit students. Singh emphasized the importance of providing quality education to students, and assured that he will try his best to provide internet & other facilities in some schools at Tral sub district, with the help of DDC funds.
Meanwhile, stationery items were also distributed among the poor and needy students of the area, for which the DDC member Dr Harbakash Singh thanked Kalyan Seva Trust management. Earlier, Singh visited some bereaved families at Gamraj, Basantpora and Kangloora villages of Tral to offer condolences on the demise of their loved ones. During his visit to Govt High School Lalpora (Kahlil) in Tral, he also met a public delegation, wherein he listened to their grievances.
