CPR is (cardiopulmonary resuscitation). This procedure is used to restore blood circulation and breathing in a person who is in cardiac arrest. All the cells in a human body require oxygen to survive; they also require a good supply of nutrients and removal of all waste products. In your lungs oxygen enters your blood and carbon dioxide is removed, this process is called gas exchange. Cardiac arrest is when your heart completely stops beating. Although your heart stops, this is not the same as a heart attack. A heart attack may lead to cardiac arrest. There are many causes that can put you in a state of cardiac arrest like, drugs, poising and over dosing on medications traumatic, injury such as a motor vehicle accidents of any kind or any significant amount of blood loss and also anaphylaxis (and allergic reaction to anything) can also lead to cardiac arrest. If any of these happen blood will stop circulating throughout the body. Breathing begins to decrease most of the time you stop breathing for several minutes. The purpose of CPR is to keep oxygen in the blood so it can continue to flow, throughout the body to keep the vital organs alive. CPR will not restart someone’s heart, it just keeps the blood flow circulating until official help arrives , once you come across someone that isn’t breathing you should first see if the scene is clear before you go to help the person always remember ABC always make sure you are not in any danger check for a response from the person you’re doing CPR on shake them gently . make sure the airway is clear by kneeling by the persons head and tilting there head backwards . check if the person is breathing by placing your ear above their mouth and looking at their chest for normal breathin having a basic life skill course in place is as important as a health or physical education course. School teachers can teach techniques to children during the school year from elementary through high school. Children will learn by their age and academic level for example, elementary students can be taught a song or shown a video on how to call 911. For junior high students, they can be taught how to perform CPR and basic life skills; and for high school students, they can be taught more complex basic life skills and be required to get their CPR certification as a graduation requirement. Students should be taught the different actions to take as first responders such as when they need to assist someone who is choking, has suffered a sprain, has an injury that is bleeding, and even worse, how to help someone who has no pulse or has stopped breathing. Children will learn that in the moments of rescue, they would need to call or yell for someone to call 911 and apply their skills until professional rescuers have arrived. As the children are learning these skills, they will improve the community by adapting to the environments they will encounter. Performing first aid actions can boost their confidence and help them make important decisions without any hesitation. If the mouth is closed I would advise to put fingers on the victim’s cheeks to try and securely open their mouth. While the mouth is open, check to see if there is anything in the mouth that can be obstructing their breathing.
Many people nowadays do not know any kind of first aid or CPR. More people should learn, so when there is an emergency more people can help performing CPR may seem scary, but no worries do not be scared .CPR is a crucial life-saving treatment that can mean the difference between life and death.
Making sure that if I see anything in the throat, that I don’t shove my fingers in too far in. Then I put my ear over the mouth and nose to see if I can hear any type of breathing. When starting CPR, it is important that I have my hands in the right places. With the heels of my hand on their breast bone. If I want to be more precise, it would be two finger widths above the meeting area of the lower ribs. Then, I would place my second hand on top of the first, interlock my fingers. All while lining my body directly over the position of my hands. I then must keep my arms straight and use all my upper body strength as firm pressure. In the meantime, I will do thirty chest compressions. A chest compression is pushing down about two inches on the breast bone and coming up in a faster rhythm. This helps to revive the heartbeat. While I am doing chest compressions I should minimize interruptions or breaks. Usually the breaks happen when people switch out from doing chest compressions and another person starts. It is very important that when doing CPR that we keep breaks under the general population should know how to how to spot the signs of someone that is in trouble, and what to do. So many people nowadays do not know any kind of first aid or CPR. More people should learn, so when there is an emergency more people can help performing CPR may seem scary, but no worries do not be scared .CPR is a crucial life-saving treatment that can mean the difference between life and death
