Baramulla: A day-long Health Mela Under Ayushman Bhava was organised jointly by the Chief Medical Officer Baramulla and Block Medical Officer Uri on Thursday, officials said.
They said that Health Block Uri in collaboration with team of doctors from GMC Baramulla headed by Prof Dr Ab Majid HOD (SPM), organised Mega Health Mela at CHC Uri, in which round 621 Plus beneficiaries attended the Mela.
As per the officials, Golden cards were generated and distributed, ABHA IDs were created, while NCD Screening and TB screening was also done.
“Besides a large number of patients were provided consultations by specialists ( Gyneacology, Paediatrics, Orthopaedics, General Surgery, General Physician, Dermotology and Councilling of various diseases). Free diagnostics and free medicines were also provided to the patients,” officials said.
