Kishtwar: Government Degree College Chatroo organized an awareness program on the Right to Education under the patronage of Principal, Prof (Dr.) Ved Kumar and the able convenorship of Dr. Ather Hussain.
The event was arranged as a part of week log celebrations on theme “My Constitution My Pride,” as a crucial initiative to highlight the importance of education as a fundamental human right, ensuring access to quality education for all citizens without discrimination.
The program commenced with a warm welcome address by Mr. Muddasir Butt, Head of the Department of Arabic. Mr. Butt elaborated on the significance of the Right to Education and the various laws in India that promote education for all, emphasizing its pivotal role in individual and societal development.
Dr. Haqnawaz, Head of the Department of Political Science, played a key role in the program, shedding light on the various laws and acts that guarantee the Right to Education for all citizens. He emphasized that education is a fundamental human right that plays a crucial role in providing access to quality education without any form of discrimination.
Prof (Dr.) Ved Kumar, Principal of the college, extended his congratulations to the Department of Political Science for organizing this insightful awareness program. He emphasized the broader importance of education, highlighting that it goes beyond securing a job; education contributes to overall development, fostering peace, harmony, and societal progress. The program concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Muddasir Butt, showing gratitude to all participants and attendees.
