Srinagar: The Direct Recruited Assistant Grading & Marketing Officers of Department of Horticulture, Planning & Marketing have expressed concern over the delay in holding DPCs, demanding LG to intervene into the matter.
In a statement, the officers said: “We the Direct Recruited Assistant Grading & Marketing Officers of Department of Horticulture Planning & Marketing of Batch 2000, 2004 and 2008 would like to submit that we have been promoted to the post of Area Marketing Officers in the year June 2013 but our DPC has not been held by our administration department (APD) till date.” “Despite clear cut directions given by the Honorable High Court of J & K in the case titled G.M. Rather v/s State of J & K and others received by APD in the year 2011, The Honorable High Court has directed APD to conduct the DPC/PSC of the said officers without wasting of the further time,” they said. The officers further said that, “It is as such requested to Honorable Lieutenant Governor of J&K to direct the Agriculture Production Department (ADP) to conduct the DPC/PSC of the Area Marketing Officers without wasting of further time, so that justice is provided to the said officers at an earliest.
