Srinagar: The School of Law, University of Kashmir organized an interactive session for the students of different semesters of LL.B and BA.LLB Programmes on November 7th, 2023.
According to a statement issued from Centre for Public Relations University of Kashmir, Srinagar it was presided over by Prof. Nishtha Jaswal, Vice Chancellor, Himachal Pradesh National Law University, Shimla. Prof. Jaswal emphasized on the need to shape law students as socially conscious and empathetic lawyers. The learned scholar said that the students should always volunteer themselves for community services. Some innovative ideas relating to pro bono legal services for promoting access to justice were also discussed in the session. The proceedings of the session were conducted by Dr. Mir Junaid Alam and Dr. Iftikhar Hussain Bhat.
