Srinagar: Director General of Police J&K R R Swain has rewarded police teams for outstanding work on the terror front.
The DGP sanctioned a cash reward to a team of police personnel that has recovered a pistol, two magazines, 28 9MM bullets, and a grenade from the Shalteng area of Srinagar recently.
The teams that have also completed the process of attaching two properties in the districts of Awantipora and Kulgam used by the terrorists have also been rewarded by the DGP with rupees one lakh, a police statement issued late Saturday evening said.
