Srinagae: Speakers at soul soothing Alamdar-e- kashmir conference held on Thursday at Ahata Wqar ,Chanapora -under the aegies of Distic Legal Services Authority and Distt: Social Welfare office , Srinagar underscored the need to expand the ambit and outreach of the message of Alamdar-e- Kashmir , Hazrat Shikh Noor Din Wali ( RA) about human love ,morality and truthfulness . It was felt to make sublimity and comprehensiveness of words and ideas used by the revered sufi saint in his verses more easier to annihilate and understand them perfectly.
Ex. commissioner Secretary, Gh Jeelani Nehvi was the chief guest. On this occasion , Gh Nabi Adfar ,who has translated verses of Hazrat Shiekh into urdu and english languages ,was also felicitated. His book “ Alchemy of light ” comprising urdu and english translation of verses of Hazrat Shiekh Noor Ud Din Wali and his other publications on the reverred saint were also introduced to senior citizens present on the occasion. He exclusively shared his experiences with the jam packed audiance .
Writer and Poet Inayat Gul and Ali Ahsan ,both hailing from Chrari Sharief – the heavenly abode of Hazrat Shiekh Noor Ud Din Wali – presented eloborate commentries on the book “ Alchemy of light”. Prof Farooq Fayaz , in his thought provoking speech urged the need for preserving kashmir,s cultural legacy which was the hallmark of kashmiri Reshism . He said shiekhul Aalam was a great socio cultural practitioner who tirelessly worked for transformation of the society through his Reshi movement. He underscored the need for tanslating verses of Hazrat Shaikh Noorud Din (RA ) in other languages for spreading his message and mission of humanity at the global plateform. Speaking on the occasion Former . Dy .DG All india Radio ,srinagar Bashir Aarif said that Shiekhul Alam was the symbol and torch bearer of kashmiryat whose teachings were key to eliminate evils from the society .He urged the need to unvieling multifaceted dimentions of Hazrat Shiekh on strong historical evidences which were yet shrouded in the den of mist and tales. Gh Jeelani Nehvi said the need of the hour was to translate verses of Shiekh ul Alam in other languages so that the message of human well bieng enshrined in them reaches to whole world . He stressed for community involvement to eradicate evils from the society especially prevailing drug deediction. On this occasion a lively Mehfil-e- Mushaira was also conducted in which many prominent poets recited their poems . They included ,Bashir Aarif Mohd Yaseen Madhosh ,Inayat Gul ,Wali Waheed and Mushtaq Mehram . Prominent among the guests were ,ex. Director Door Darshan Shabir Mujahid , Former ex. chief engineer Zafar Iqbal ,Principal Girls Hr. secd school , Dr Sameena ,Tehsil social welfare officer Abdul Bari ,Editor Brighter kashmir Farooq Wani etc.
