Srinagar: To express solidarity and perceive the well-being of the families of police martyrs, Police in Kulgam on Monday visited various Police martyr families at villages of Qaimoh, Zradipora, Sopar, Bogund, Kanipora, Shurath, KB Pora, Neehama, DH Pora, Chawalgam etc.
According to a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters Srinagar, during the interaction with families of martyrs, visiting Police Officers listened to their grievances patiently and assured them that their genuine issues will be taken up at appropriate level for timely redressal. During their visit, various items like blankets, etc were gifted to these families. Visiting officers also emphasised on them to consider police department as their family and share their problems with us especially in case of exigencies.
Besides, the SSP Kulgam expressed that Police is in touch with the families of martyrs however, present visit is a part of 10 days scheduled programme in remembrance of our noble martyrs.
