At present, it has been observed that the lifestyle of people, especially youth has got affected; they are getting involved in drug addiction, which affects their health badly. The club has come up with an initiative to create awareness among the masses on this day to create awareness among the people and attract them towards the physical activities.
According to the study, he said that it is mandatory for any individual to walk or run for at least 30 minutes in a day, which would keep their health condition better.
In the past two years, he said that drug abuse is very common as both boys and girls are getting indulged in it. “At this juncture, I want to appeal to people to quit smoking and come out of the drug menace as such things can only ruin the health of an individual,” Dr Irfan said.

“We have been taking classes every day without any fee at Bakhshi Stadium, we have been provided ground and other facilities by the Sports Council. The classes are being taken regularly at 6:30 in the morning,” he said.
Meanwhile, Director Health Services Kashmir, Dr Mushtaq Ahmad Rather while speaking on the occasion said that he is happy to see the club organizing such an event on World Heart Day.
“It is the time when we need to spare some time to do physical activity so that our health remains good,” he said, adding that the people should not get indulged in drugs and rather should take part in sports activities.
“There was a time when the heart disease was quite uncommon in Kashmir, but nowadays, it has become usual as the young people are getting involved in it, which is a grave cause of concern,” he added and appealed people to take part in physical activities
