School Edu Deptt to conduct inspection in all Govt institutions

Srinagar: School Education Department has decided to conduct a mandatory inspection of academic activities in all the government institutions particularly with reference to the quality of education.
The concerned officials have been asked to review the findings and submit their recommendations to improve the academic standard in all government run schools of Jammu and Kashmir.
“In order to enhance the academic standard in all the Government Schools of JKUT, it is impressed upon both the directorates to prepare academic inspection schedule of all the supervisory officers that is Director, Joint Director, CEOs, and ZEOs and conduct a detailed inspection of academic activities in all the Educational Institutions particularly with reference to the quality,” the government ordered.
The Government also said that the inspecting or supervisory officers shall submit the findings along-with recommendations to their respective directorates within three days after inspection.
“The directorates shall submit the consolidated report along with findings and recommendations to the Administrative Department in the first week of every month,” it reads.
The government said that any deviation of the instructions given shall be taken seriously and disciplinary action shall be initiated wherever required
