Pulwama | October, 14: A man was injured in a wild bear attack in the Parigam area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Wednesday, officials said.
The wild bear attacked the individual suddenly while he was outdoors in the locality. The injured man was immediately shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment, where he was identified as Muzaffar Ahmad Ganie, son of Mohammad Ramzan, a resident of Hariparigam. Meanwhile, local residents have urged the authorities to take immediate anti-wildlife measures to prevent further bear attacks in the area, witnesses said.
