Doda: Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Doda, Pran Singh on Tuesday reviewed the Activity Plan for the nationwide “Meri Mati Mera Desh” campaign here at a meeting attended by stakeholder departments.
The campaign, initiated by the Government of India, aims to promote patriotism and community engagement. In a detailed session held in the ADDC’s office chamber, key officers and officials gathered to deliberate on the campaign’s progress and implementation strategies.
T ADDC engaged virtually with Block Development Officers (BDOs) to discuss the effective execution of the “Meri Mati Mera Desh” initiative. He asked the BDOs to expedite the necessary formalities required for organizing different activities under the campaign. Noteworthy events scheduled for the program include the flag hoisting ceremony, construction of a Silaphalakam, capturing selfies with the tricolour flag, singing of the national anthem, and taking the Panch Prana pledge.
Underlining the significance of involving the families of martyrs, the ADDC directed BDOs to reach out and extend invitations to them for participation in the program, which is slated for August 9th. Furthermore, the ADDC stressed the active participation of Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs), sarpanches, and other responsible individuals to ensure the success of the campaign.
Dignitaries present at the meeting included ACP Doda, District Youth Services and Sports Officer Doda, BDO Marmat, and representatives from relevant departments. This comprehensive review reflects the commitment of the administration towards fostering a sense of national pride and unity among citizens through the “Meri Mati Mera Desh” campaign.
