Srinagar: As Director General Police Dilbag Singh “attached”, till further orders,SDPO Nowgam Srinagar after ‘some allegations of professional misconduct’ against him, the J&K Governmnt’s Home Department attached Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Bandipora Ashiq Tak with immediate effect.
“In view of some allegations of professional misconduct, Adil Mushtaq DySP SDPO Nowgam is hereby attached with the office of Special DG Crime, J&K till further orders,” reads an order issued by DGP. The order further reads “Sumit Kumar Sharma, Dy SP PC Srinagar in addition to his own duties shall look after the assignment of SDPO Nowgam.” .
Meanwhile an order was issued from J&K Government’s Home Department to attach Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Bandipora Ashiq Tak with immediate effect. The order reads “In the interest of administration, Ashiq Hussain Tak, Addl. Superintendent of Police, Bandipora, is hereby attached with the Police Headquarters, J&K, with immediate effect”.
