According to reports in the country, there is a lot of illegal donkey trafficking, slaughtering, and selling of donkey flesh taking place. Many young and adult donkeys have their throats slit when they are still conscious. Some are also slaughtered by children across many states. According to reports, most donkeys are slaughtered in various locations across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.Donkeys are smuggled into Andhra Pradesh and Telangana from other states under the cover of darkness to avoid police interception. It’s high time to save these. Concerned parties should conduct immediate investigations and raids to rescue donkeys.There is a widespread belief in the country that donkey flesh and blood can cure diseases. As a result, illegal slaughtering operations are taking place. According to reports, the donkey population dropped by 50% in last five years.Donkeys are entitled to better treatment than this.
