Some of us like snowfall; others get bored with it. Being an honest person, I do like the snow when it starts to fall in very small pieces from the above atmosphere. The snow falling moments are very luscious and pleasant; it covers the whole surface of earth and makes it whitey for the coming time. There are mountains cladded with snow that look very picturesque during the winters everywhere. Snow attracts a very large number of tourists throughout the globe and sets a big stage for the enjoyment, as well as an entertaining environment for the tourist and for the native of Kashmir. There are many countries in the world where snowfall is recorded every year, viz., Russia, Sweden, California, Canada, etc. Nature has created every being for the certain cause that we all are well known, but at the same time we are enjoying them and making our surrounding pleasant and awesome with these beautiful things all the time. when we know the value of something, obviously whenever, we face its scarcity in certain ways: the natural process by which we are experiencing the water cycle, which is very vital for the survival of all living things on the earth snow plays a very important role in maintaining it and letting it go on and on. Snow can have a dramatic effect on our daily lives. “It’s also the focus of a multitude of outdoor sports and the inspiration for some of our most beloved recreational gear.” importance of snow what of its importance in nature: snow has a variety of functions in the natural world that promote the processes that keep our planet in balance. Let’s take a look at the importance of snow in the ecosystem.
We depend on large amounts of snow to hold our water in reserve like a bank, releasing it slowly as it melts when it is most needed. All of this snowpack and temperature fluctuation would mean that some of our favourite winter pastimes, like skiing, snowshoeing, and snowmobiling, could shift seasons or cease to be available in some areas at all.
What is snow: – snow is comprised of one simple ingredient: H2O, or water. Flakes begin to form when the atmospheric temperature (not the ground temperature) is at or below freezing. Snowflakes develop as water dropping into the atmosphere forms ice crystals and sticks together as they fall down to earth. Even if the ground is warmer than the air, snow can still occur, and potentially more often in this case. Warm air close to the ground holds more water vapour, making bigger snowflakes and causing heavier snowfalls. Critical climate control and water supply .Water is critical for all species on earth. However, the importance of snow within our climate system is often not given much thought. Snow cover regulates not only the temperature of the entire globe but also smaller regional patterns as well. The cooling effect of a strong snowpack combined with warm spring soils influences summer rains and their duration. The importance of snow to our fresh water supply cannot be denied.
