Fruits are the most delicious, tasty, and beneficial for our health. Every one of us likes to eat fruits. There are more than 2,000 types of fruit varieties found worldwide. Every fruit has its unique and different benefits from other fruits. some fruits are rare and some are common; fruits are cultivated throughout the world; different countries produce different and delicious fruits and export them to other countries for trade purposes. Today I am going to let u all know the few benefits of heavenly fruit, which is known as the fig fruit. the fig fruit has its own importance from an Islamic point of view. in the quran, “the holy book of islam,” anjeer is mentioned as “the fruit of heaven.” this fruit has numerous health benefits and belongs to the mulberry family. Nutritional value of the fruit: fresh fruit is rich in nutrients while being relatively low in calories, making it a great addition to a healthy diet. one small fresh (40-gram) fig contains: calories: 30; protein: 0 gms; fat: 0 gms; carbs: 8 gms; fiber: 1 gms; coper: 3% of the daily value; magnesium: 2%; potassium: 2%; riboflavin: 2%; thiamine: 2%; vitamin b6: 3%; vitamin k: 2%. a fresh fig contains some calories from natural sugar, but having a few figs is a reasonable addition to meals. On the other hand, dried fruit is high in sugar and rich in calories, as the sugar becomes concentrated when the fruit is dried. figs also contain small amounts of a wide variety of nutrients, but they are particularly rich in copper and vitamin b6. copper is a vital mineral that’s involved in several bodily processes, including metabolism and energy production, as well as the formation of blood cells, connective tissues, and neurotransmitters. vitamin b6 is a key vitamin necessary to help your body break down dietary protein and create new proteins. it also plays an important role in brain health.
Benefits Of Fig: Figs have many potential benefits, including promoting digestive and heart health, along with potentially helping manage blood sugar levels.
Promote Digestive Health: Figs have long been used as a home remedy or an alternative treatment for digestive problems like constipation. they contain fibre, which may promote digestive health by softening and adding bulk to socks, decreasing constipation, and serving as food source for the health bacteria populating your gut. in animal studies, fig fruit extract or paste helped speed the movement of food through the digestive tract, reducing the constipation and improving the symptoms of digestive disorders like ulcerative colitis. A study of 150 people with irritable bowel syndrome with constipation (ibsc) found that those who consumed about four dried figs (45 grams) twice daily experienced a significant reduction in symptoms, including pain, bloating, and constipation.
Improve the vasculature and heart health: Anjeer may improve blood pressure and blood fat levels, which can help improve your vascular health and decrease your risk of heart disease. one study found that extract decreased blood pressure in rats with normal blood pressure as well as those with elevated levels. an animal study has also shown improvements in total cholesterol, HDL (good) cholesterol, and triglyceride levels when supplementing with fig leaf extract.
