Dear Editor,
A green economy is one that is low-carbon, resource efficient, and socially inclusive. The green economy is a relatively new notion that has recently sparked debate among economists and environmentalists. A green economy is required to foster inclusive environmental sustainability and global climate adaption in our national and global economic fabric, while also assuring positive possibilities for people and the environment. The green economy understands that long-term economic growth and development are dependent on the effective and responsible use and conservation of natural ecosystems in order for them to continue providing resources, services, and services. Services, the environment, and the climate are critical to our well-being and economic well-being.The green economy, most crucially, produces the fewest greenhouse gases, uses resources efficiently, and minimises or eliminates waste; it is socially inclusive; it combats climate change while compensating for current and future repercussions; and it is built on green economic growth. In a green economy, public and private investment in economic activities, infrastructure, and assets that reduce carbon emissions and pollution, enhance energy and resource efficiency, and avoid the loss of biodiversity and ecosystem services drives job and income growth.A green economy is a mindset shift on development and growth that can improve people’s lives and the environment while promoting environmental and economic sustainability. The green economy regularly uses energy resources to improve environmental performance while reducing climate risks.Due to climate pressures and brain drain, problems arise for long-term growth and economic stability. The green economy is a long-term development strategy. A green economic plan should encourage innovation and the use of advanced technologies. These green investments are needed in our country to enable and support targeted public spending, policy reforms and tax and regulatory changes, which are a very important factor in promoting promote resource efficiency and green economy. Our Finance Ministry should consider the Green economy in coming days.
