Sir,
Most popular company manufacturing talc-based baby powder has been proven in abroad it contain cancer-causing asbestos, but in India, the company blatant marketing of its baby powder is reprehensible. Sadly, company has said that it has no plans to go a step further and withdraw the talc-based powder. When experts questioned the Drug regulatory board of India about the company’s decision not to withdraw immediately, the board remained silence and it has raised many doubts. It is ironic that the company has said arrogantly that there is no doubt that the product will be sold in stores until the supply of the talc-based baby powder is exhausted. Even though this company has faced more than ten thousand lawsuits, it has said that it does not shy away for any reason. Besides, there are allegations on other products of this company which also contains carcinogenic chemicals,
Company is in no shy away business so therefore central government should immediately take action against this company.Otherwise the health especially of babies is bound to deteriorate.
Yours,
