Srinagar: General Secretary and In-charge Kashmir division of Jammu and Kashmir BharatiyaJanata Party (BJP), Sunil Sharma on Thursday said Abdullahs and Muftis stand nowhere in Kashmir politics now.
Speaking to the media persons, he said that Mehbooba Mufti never wanted development for the people of Jammu and Kashmir and was not supporting employment avenues either here. “She is always trying to create issues that get her space in the media,” he said.
“Instead of celebrating 75 Independence Day, she always raises issues that have no purpose. She never spoke of development and employment for the people of Kashmir,” the senior BJP leader said.
He also said that the BJP is fully prepared for the elections in Jammu and Kashmir and is confident that his party will defeat the National Conference in the upcoming elections.
Speaking on this occasion Sharma said Omar Abdullah has weavering stand, earlier he was saying he won’t fight elections till statehood is not restored and now he has no issues with that.
“Leaders who solve people’s problems should be valued,” he added.
