Covid- 19 In JK: No new death reported, toll stays at 4776

Srinagar: Jammu & Kashmir in it’s daily Covid Bulletin on Wednesday said that 547 fresh positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19) including 70 from Jammu division and 477 from Kashmir Valley reported in last 24 hours raised the total number of positive cases to 471374, Stating therein further that with no new Covid death reported in last 24 hours from any where in Jammu & Kashmir the J&K’s overall Covid death toll stayed at 4776.
Government in it’s above referred Covid Bulletin also said that moreover, 766 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 221 from Jammu division and 545 from Kashmir division.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 471374 positive cases, 4927 are Active Positive (984 in Jammu Division and 3943 in Kashmir Division), 461671 have recovered and 4776 have died; 2346 in Jammu division and 2430 in Kashmir division.
The Government in it’s daily Covid Bulletin further said that out of 26254873 test results available, 471374 samples have tested positive and 25783499 samples have been tested as negative till date. Besides, 11,163 COVID tests have been conducted in last 24 hours.
Till date 6699469 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 137 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 4927 in isolation and 311 in home surveillance. Besides, 6689318 persons have completed their surveillance period.
Providing district-wise breakup for positive cases for Wednesday, the Bulletin informs that in Kashmir division, Srinagar reported 125 cases, Baramulla reported 171 cases, Budgam 60 cases, Pulwama reported 18 cases, Kupwara reported 30 cases, Anantnag reported 35 cases, Bandipora reported 08 cases, Ganderbal reported 22 cases, Kulgam reported 07 cases while as Shopian reported 01 fresh case for Wednesday.
Similarly in Jammu division, Jammu reported 38 cases, Udhampur 05, Rajouri 01, Doda 03, Kathua 02, Samba 05, Kishtwar 06, Poonch 02, Ramban 08 while as Reasi reported no fresh case for Wednesday.
The bulletin informs that in case of any help, the general public can call J&K Centralised Health Helpline- Toll Free No. 104.In case of emergency, people can avail free ambulance services 24×7 by calling toll free number 108 while as pregnant women and sick infants can avail free services by dialling toll free number 102, the bulletin reads. It also informs that the public can reach national helpline by dialling 1075.
