New Delhi: Jammu & Kashmir Lt Governor Manoj Sinha on Monday called on President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi.
During his meeting with the President Duropati Murmu, LG Manoj Sinha congratulated her on being elected as 15th President of Republic of India.
Murmu, who won as the candidate for the BJP-led NDA against UPA’s Yashwant Sinha, succeeded Ram Nath Kovind to become India’s first tribal President. On this occasion, LG Manoj Sinha also apprized the President about the latest emerging situation in Jammu and Kashmir. Needless to mention it here that after taking over as President of India, it was the first official meeting between the President and the Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha at Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi. On this occasion, LG Sinha also presented a bouquet to the President.
