DDC Rajouri reviews Budha Amarnath Yatra arrangements

Rajouri: District Development Commissioner Rajouri, VikasKundal Thursday discussed the arrangements for smooth conduct of BudhaAmarnath Yatra here at a meeting of officers held in the Conference Hall of the PWD Dakbunglow.
During the meeting, the arrangements including adequate supply of drinking water, cleanliness of the yatra grounds, construction of temporary sheds for community kitchens and langars, ration and LPG supply, security arrangements, transport arrangements, medical facilities etc were discussed in detail.
The DDC gave necessary instructions to the departments with regard to their duties and responsibilities while making necessary arrangements for the yatra.
The PDD and Jal Shakti Departments were directed to ensure uninterrupted water and power supply at the yatra grounds for the convenience of the pilgrims.
The EO MC was asked to ensure cleanliness and sanitation at the venues, while the concerned officer from the fire and emergency department was directed to keep the fire tenders on alert during the day and night at Yatra grounds.
The DDC also instructed the Health Department to keep available all the Medicare facilities for the yatris. The concerned officers from the Food Safety and FCS&CA were directed to ensure that quality meal was served to the yatris.
ADDC, Pawan Kumar; ADC Rajouri, Sachin Dev Singh; ADC Sunderbani, Vinod Kumar Behnal; ADC Nowshera, Sukhdev Singh Samyal; ACD, Vijay Kumar; ACP, Abdul Rashid Kohli; CAO, Sohan Singh; TehsildarRajouri, Mehmood and other concerned officers attended the meeting.
