Students of Model Higher Secondary School Sawjian get Library facility

Poonch|April, 26: In pursuance to My Library My lifeline campaign, Model Higher Secondary School SawjianPoonch Tuesday commissioned its library and reading room. To make the facility functional, the school management provided a spacious room with tables and chairs for readers.
Local dailies and magazines have also been made available to the students.
For the first time, the students have been provided with Library identity cards to facilitate them to get books issued in their names.
Meanwhile, the School Principal Anwar Khan chaired a session with students to acquaint them with the use of a dictionary. He alsoinformedthe students that members and staff have donated their old books to the school library to make it richer.
A three-member committee headed by Arif Malik Lecturer and Saleem Rishi teacher and Mushtaq Bhatt Library Assistant has been framed to guide the students in this regard.
The students are very enthusiastic about it and are spending their leisure time in Library. They thanked the school administration for this initiative.
