Srinagar: In connection with celebrations of Gram Swaraj Month, the Rural Development Department, through Block Development Officers (BDOs), Srinagar-Khanmoh, Mehnaz Chisti; BDO Harwan, Huma Nazir and BDO, Qamarwari, Asbah Arjamand Khan, has organized different programs including awareness programs in the district.
During these programs, locals were sensitized about the welfare schemes launched by the Government for the development of people.
They also held Gram Sabhas and discussed a wide range of issues including the future development plans formulated for their respective blocks.
Panches, Panchayat Secretaries and the locals also participated in the program.
Meanwhile, similar programs are scheduled to be held on this account during this month.
