Passion means exploring areas that spark your interest, developing your skills in a specific area, and using those skills to contribute to something beyond yourself. All our life, we are told to follow the passion. To dig deep and find that one thing that makes you ecstatic. Somehow, you are supposed to know almost at the point of leaving school, what you are going to be good at, and to go after that passion. Any aspiration that is accompanied by passion tends to bring out definitive result in one’s life. Passion is the key that pushes the person in their difficult times because the person does not care about anything but becoming a better person. Everybody possesses the ability to build their dream life, the secret of which lies in your passions and the things you do to accomplish them. People who are able to make a career out the things they love tend to be more successful so if anyone wants to reform their life then they should work according to their passion and interest. We collectively believe in a lot of myths. One of them is that your life only makes sense if you do what you love. That might be true, but the pursuit of your passion can be equally satisfying, which is something we often overlook. So, stop looking for your passion. Knowing something well and solving someone’s problem is more commonplace than you believe. Instead of chasing a Passion and invoking the fear of missing out the chance, make yourself down in your work. Keep down until you get to the point where you can make progress towards the achievement of something better than what you have now. It doesn’t have to be a life’s Task. It doesn’t have to be a Passion. It doesn’t even have to be what you want to build your entire career around. Focusing on work that allows you to experience a feeling of growth provides growth. Growth begets growth in work. If you’re engaged in work you resent, you won’t spend the time going above and beyond to learn new skills in that work you resent. Every other person nowadays seems to be obsessed with figuring out what his passion is. People often encourage others, especially young job seekers, to simply find their passion and follow it. Sometimes, we can flail when we correlate our passion with the things we enjoy.
It is always valuable to keep an open mind and incorporate as many of our interests in our career as possible. However, it is even better to identify things we need right now in our life and career. There may be hundreds of opportunities out there, but you may have no idea of them. Even if you manage to recognize some of those opportunities, you may not have the necessary skills and experience required for them. As a result, you will find it very difficult to pursue your passion. It is also impossible for you to include all of your interests in your work and life. For instance, you might love drawing and want to work with special people at the same time. But what do you want to draw and how you intend to work with special People? Think about it. The best course of action for you is to make a list of your interests and jobs you would love to do. In today’s uncertain times, it is the perfect moment to reflect on how you have been living your life. This past year has reminded us how delicate and precious life is. Things can change in a heartbeat. We are in difficult times, but many successful people (in life and careers) seize the moment during tough times. Instead of putting pressure on yourself, you need something else that will trigger that final step of getting a eureka moment. You don’t know your passion because you’re not aware of it. That’s all. Don’t make things more complicated than they are. And don’t try to force it to come out of you. It’s not a pimple that you have to pop. When you meet inspiring people, they inspire you to do great things too! It’s important to surround yourself with people that that lift you up. I used to have friends that brought me down and made me feel small. It seemed that no matter what I did, they would judge me. Instead of consciously thinking about your passion, let your passion come to you. It’s somewhere inside of you, hiding because it’s afraid to expose itself. You just have to trust that someday it will seemingly appear out of nowhere. When that day comes, make a happy dance, celebrate, whatever, but the next day, wake up and start working.
