FCS&CA Deptt seals 04 Mutton, 1 Bakery Shop, Also recovers Rs. 10k fine from erring shopkeepers

Srinagar: The Enforcement squad of Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA) Department Monday recovered a fine of Rs.10400.00 from 07 erring shopkeepers, besides, 04 mutton and 01 bakery shop was also sealed on the spot for violation of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955.
The action against the erring shopkeepers was held during a market checking drive conducted under the chairmanship of Assistant Director (Enforcement) in various areas of Srinagar City including Bemina Bypass, Tengpora, Peerbagh, Hyderpora, Habak, Zakura, Hazratbal etc.
During the market checking 71 business establishments were inspected and a penal sum was recovered from the erring besides sealing few shops.
Moreover, the erring lot was reprimanded to remain careful in future.
