Covid-19 In JK: No death reported in last 24 hours , toll stays at 4749

Srinagar, Jammu: Jammu & Kashmir Government in it’s daily covid bulldetin on Monday said that 12 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19), 09 from Jammu division and 03 from Kashmir division, have mounted the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 453460. It however said that no new covid death was reported in last 24 hours in Jammu & Kashmir and as such J&K’s overall covid death toll stayed at 4749.
In it’s covid bulletin Government also said that 37 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 15 from Jammu Division and 22 from Kashmir Division, stating therein further that no new case of Mucormycosis has been reported Monday, thus the total number of confirmed cases remains 51 across J&K. On COVID vaccination, the bulletin informs that 14,872 doses of COVID vaccine have been administered in the last 24 hours bringing the cumulative number of doses administered across J&K to 2,17,11,745.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 453460 positive cases, 217 are Active Positive (92 in Jammu Division and 125 in Kashmir Division), 448493 have recovered and 4750 have died; 2327 in Jammu division and 2423 in Kashmir division.
The Bulletin further said that out of 23847105 test results available, 453460 samples have tested positive and 23393645 samples have been tested as negative till date. Besides, 31662 COVID tests have been conducted in last 24 hours.
Till date 6231632 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 33238 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 217 in isolation and 456698 in home surveillance. Besides, 5736729 persons have completed their surveillance period.
Providing district-wise breakup for positive cases reported Monday, the Bulletin said that Srinagar and Baramulla reported two and one cases respectively while as, Budgam, Pulwama, Kupwara, Kulgam, Anantnag, Bandipora, Ganderbal and Shopian reported no fresh cases for Monday.
Similarly, Jammu and Samba reported two cases each, Doda reported five new cases while as Poonch, Kathua, Rajouri, Reasi, Ramban, Kishtwar and Udhampur reported no fresh cases for Monday.
Moreover, the bulletin also highlights that against the availability of 4838 dedicated level 1 & level 2 COVID beds, only 01 (0.02%) is occupied.
The bulletin informs that in case of any help, the general public can call J&K Centralised Health Helpline- Toll Free No. 104.
In case of emergency, people can avail free ambulance services 24×7 by calling toll free number 108 while as pregnant women and sick infants can avail free services by dialling toll free number 102, the bulletin reads. It also informs that the public can reach national helpline by dialling 1075.
