Kulgam : Deputy Commissioner Kulgam Shahzad Alam conducted a comprehensive field inspection of the ongoing construction site at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV), Mirhama. Sources said the visit focused on assessing physical progress across various civil and structural developmental components of the prestigious educational project.
During the evaluation, the DC interacted with engineering teams from the executing agency TCIL and district officers to receive component-wise status updates. Officials said the infrastructure project, titled “Construction of Phase-A and Phase-B Works at JNV Kulgam,” carries an estimated cost of ₹40.47 crore and spans 143 kanals of allotted land. DC Alam also spent time interacting with school staff and students to evaluate present educational operations on site.
