MSK Rajouri educates female staff of Himalayan Education Mission about Women centric Schemes

Rajouri  : District Hub for Empowerment of Women (MSK under MoWCD, Govt. of India) Thursday organised an awareness programme at Himalayan Education Mission, Rajouri and had a thorough interaction with the female staff members.
On the Directions and supervision of Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Vikas Kundal, the MSK team led by Women Welfare Officer Dr. Anum Mirza highlighted the working of the Department and made the gathering aware about women centric schemes – Sukanya Samridhi Yojna, OSC, WHL 181, Shelter Home, Pension Schemes, National Scholarship Portal, Janani Suraksha Yojana, Ayushman Bharat, Employment generation programmes including Tejeswani, Mumkin, JKEDI, PMEGP.
The participants were also informed about the BBBP Campaign and the social assistance being provided to women in distress.
Dr Anjum underlined the need to contain the drop out ratio of the girl students, terming it a major hindrance in the path of development. She said that girls should get an equal opportunity to explore their potential and be supported by their parents and society to become independent.District Coordinator of MSK Nazma Sheikh was also part of the team.
