DDC Chairman Srinagar Malik Aftab visits Balhama

Srinagar | : In an extensive tour to Balhama, DDC Chairman Srinagar Malik Aftab on Monday interacted with the local inhabitants and listened to their grievances.
He was accompanied by BDC Chairman Mr. Hussain along with concerned Rural Development officials.
In a statement issued here, Malik Aftab said that people are facing immense problems in the area and I have assured them of every possible help in order to resolve their pressing concerns at an earliest.
“Many of their problems have been resolved on spot as I have directed the concerned officials to address their problems. Besides, the locals have also raised the issues with regards to the dilapidated condition of the drainage system which I have promised to take up with the higher authorities as soon as possible,” he said.
Aftab said the condition of roads remains deplorable due to which people continue to suffer especially during wet weather.
“The locals apprised that it becomes highly troublesome for elderly and young to set foot outside their homes during rains or snow. Therefore, I have promised them that requisite actions will be taken to mitigate their sufferings,” he announced.
The locals lauded the efforts of DDC Chairman Srinagar Malik Aftab and hoped that their matters will be resolved in a time-bound manner.
